22 Paintings
A personal exploration in which I will paint 22 seperate paintings between now and the end of June. I’m hoping to get the word out and have everyone submit comments and take part of the journey.
All 22 paintings will be put up for sale at the end of June. You can follow the progress of this journey on flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/68544746@N05/sets/72157629863788424/
[Read: It’s self promo] The purpose of the self-promotional project is twofold. As the title implies, it serves as a piece for personal promotion as a graphic designer (designed to be sent to potential employers). The less obvious purpose of this piece is to introduce ones self into the graphic design profession. As the final project before graduation, it has been used as an allegory to personal style.

The Dutch tech site Hardware.Info held a custom PC case mod contest to see what their creative members could come up with. The canvas for this challenge was a Corsair 600T PC case. I support the winning Star Wars Scout Trooper mod by Nada one hundred percent. Check out more submissions here.

The amazing Star Wars fan film “A Light in the Darkness” is now finished and ready for viewing thanks to creators Fed Wetherbee & PJ Tamayo. The adventure takes place approximately 1 year Before the Battle of Yavin and is full of greatness. But, you don’t have to take my word for it.
You can also watch the 40 minute fan film straight through on their website.

‘Real Steel’ X 3A Toys
Back in June, 3A Toys announced that they were going to do 1/6th scale figures of the robots for the upcoming robot boxing movie
Rock Em Sock Em RobotsReal Steel. Check out these pictures they just released on their Facebook page of the figure for the fighting robot named “Ambush”. This 18” beauty is super detailed and looks even better than the actal prop used for the movie (also pictured). Anyways, you’re going to have to wait to get your hands on this gorgeous figure, as 3A has yet to release any information as to when they’re doing pre-orders for this baby or anything about pricing, which is sure to be rather high.If you’re itching to see this thing in action before you decide whether or not you want to drop your hard-earned cash for this, then
Rock Em Sock Em RobotsReal Steel comes out Friday, October 7th.

Daily Geekstomization: “Judge me by my size, do you?”
This may look like an actual production piece at first glance, but there’s actually a Mighty Mugg figure hiding underneath that crazy sculpting job.
